yeah the starting point for the performance... im sure its hard choose one because it changes so much. Using a speech like this that relates to the context at hand gives a bizarre feeling like the divergences that are happening on the level of the performance are also reaching for divergent, subterranean histories that were excluded because they fell outside of the limits of understanding. as if the walls of the hall holding the the performance are being redefined or attacked by nonsense.and then there are so many parameters you could adjust. what are you thinking about the length of the text? im just thinking that probably one sentence could already be a lot, and would emphasise how even within a relatively short string of words there are so so so many gaps. and then you are obsessively returning to this one sentence over and over to find something in it that was missed before but that it just keeps on giving and giving results. bit like a stutter drawing of a boat with a hole in it lol.

Understanding diversity.
Understanding is used both as a gerund and as an adjective. When it is employed as an adjective, “understanding diversity” becomes part of the paradigm in which we encounter expressions such as ethnic diversity or cultural diversity. In such cases, “understanding diversity” can be read as equivalend to “diversity of understanding” (yo diria aqui: a diversity that understands) provided that we can make sense of expressions such as ethnicity of understanding and cultures of understanding. And by this I mean two things: understanding global diversality, to which universalism belongs as one particular and diverse cultural entity, and understanding diversity beyond the national/imperial language ideologies.

Male and female Ss listened to their own recorded voices, some of which had been distorted by filtering out selected frequencies. When women listened to their own voices, they experienced a consistent and reliable disruptive and discrepancy effect, as measured by semantic differential responses, regardless of the degree of distortion. Responses for men were unreliable. The results suggest that, at least for women, hearing one's own recorded voice produces a disruptive effect which is referrable not only to the physical differences between the recorded voice and the voice as one speaks, but to psychological, motivational factors as well.
